Schofields Village is a recently completed shopping centre in Sydney’s north west. The greenfield development includes a 3800m² Coles supermarket, 1400m² of specialty retail and a 900m² childcare centre.

This project offered a unique opportunity to provide a critical social service to a growing suburb, and to create a new local hub and anchor for the community.

The design focuses on the establishment of generous communal spaces both through an internal mall, and external shopfronts fronting a large forecourt and dining area. These spaces allow for a variety of commercial and retail opportunities, and create a more robust retail environment supported external activity.
